Kırklareli University organized an “Institutional Orientation Program” for newly enrolled students in the 2025–2026 Academic Year.
The program, held as part of the “Welcome to University Life Meeting,” was attended by our Rector Prof. Dr. Rengin Ak, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Eylem Özkaya Lassalle, Prof. Dr. Murat Gençbay, and Prof. Dr. Meryem Çamur Demir, Rector’s Advisor Prof. Dr. Seçkin Yavuzdoğan, Secretary General Ahmet Şimşek, along with academic and administrative staff and students.
Commencing with a moment of silence and the Turkish National Anthem, the program was organized in person for the first time this year with the aim of helping students adapt to university life and become familiar with academic and administrative units.
In her opening speech, Rector Prof. Dr. Rengin Ak congratulated the students and welcomed them to the Kırklareli University family, stating:
“Our university, with its continuously growing academic staff, modern physical infrastructure, and student-centered approach, provides a qualified educational environment for our youth. We will continue to support you not only academically but also in your social, cultural, and personal development.”
As part of the program, representatives from the Student Affairs Office, Distance Education Application and Research Center, Health, Culture and Sports Office, Library and Documentation Office, Career Application and Research Center, Erasmus Office, Student Welfare Office, Community Relations Coordination Office, Barrier-Free University Coordination Office, and Student Clubs Coordination Office provided information about their operations.
The event concluded with the message that students have joined not only a university but also a supportive and strong family. Appreciation was extended to all participating students and contributors.
Following the event, unit representatives met with students individually at information stands set up in the Faculty of Law foyer, where they shared detailed information about their activities.
