Within the scope of the Turkey Green Industry Project carried out under the coordination of the Ministry of Industry and Technology, with the support of the World Bank and the partnership of TÜBİTAK and KOSGEB, the results of the “1833 Industry Innovation Network Mechanism (SAYEM) Green Transformation Call 2024-2” have been announced.
The project titled “TARIM2030: Digitalization in Agriculture for Food Supply Security, Sustainability, Innovation, and Transparency”, in which our university is a stakeholder, has been awarded a total budget support of 45 million TL.
During the signing ceremony held on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, our Rector Prof. Dr. Rengin Ak signed the protocol, officially marking the participation of Kırklareli University in this significant achievement.
The ceremony was attended by Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Meryem Çamur Demir, Director of the Food R&D Innovation and Entrepreneurship Application and Research Center Prof. Dr. Hatice Şanlıdere Aloğlu, Food Specialization Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gülce Bedis Kaynarca, Assistant Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Recep Güneş, and Head of the Project Development and Coordination Office Lecturer Çiğdem Ovacı Beji.
Under the leadership of Dr. Bora Aslan, Director of the Food Supply Security and Digitalization Joint Application and Research Center (GADOM), our university will take an active role in field implementations to be carried out across various agricultural products. Through the Blockchain Infrastructure Platform to be developed within the project, Kırklareli University will contribute to enhancing transparency, traceability, and reliability in production processes.
The TARIM2030 project is coordinated by Migros Ticaret A.Ş., with partners including Kırklareli University, Boğaziçi University, Gebze Technical University, Yeditepe University, Tekirdağ Namık Kemal University, Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, MEF University, TÜBİTAK MAM, İSTAÇ, Agrovisio, Geosys, Datanet OBASE, Sarıçiçek Tarım/Önder Çiftçi, Plant Factory, Mavruz Tarım, and Ertuğ Balık.
