As part of the Erasmus Days events organized by the International Relations Office of Kırklareli University, a cultural trip was held for international students studying at the Turkish Teaching Application and Research Center (TÖMER).
The event took place on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, with the participation of TÖMER Director Assoc. Prof. Ayşe Şener, giving students the opportunity to explore the city’s rich historical and cultural heritage.
The program began with a visit to the Kırklareli Museum, where students examined archaeological and ethnographic artifacts representing the Thrace region. The next stop was the Aşağıpınar Mound, where Lecturer Şafak Nergiz from the Faculty of Architecture provided insights into Neolithic-era settlement traces, allowing students to witness the ancient history of the region.
Continuing their journey, students visited the Atatürk House Museum, where they learned about Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk’s visit to Kırklareli and observed cultural elements from that period.
At the end of the program, students participated in the “Erasmus+ Quiz Time” activity, reinforcing their knowledge while enjoying an interactive and entertaining experience.
