The 4th International Congress on Economics, Finance and Social Sciences (ICOFESP), in which Kırklareli University was a stakeholder, was held between 29–31 October 2025, hosted by the University of Pristina in Kosovo.

The congress was attended by Sabri Tunç Angılı, Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Kosovo; Fikrim Damka, Minister of Regional Development of Kosovo; Refika Sülçevsi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Regional Development; Education Counselor Veysel Erdel; Yunus Emre Institute Kosovo Coordinator Ramazan Yılmaz; TİKA Coordinator Fulya Aslan; and Turkish Maarif Foundation Kosovo Coordinator Mehmet Nedim Aslan, along with many senior bureaucrats and academicians.

Distinguished participants also included Rector of the University of Mitrovica Prof. Dr. Nurten Deva, Rector of the University of New York Tirana Prof. Dr. Ali Güneş, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business at the same university Assoc. Prof. Dr. Juna Miluka, Rector of Tetova University Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli, and Rector of Munzur University Prof. Dr. Kenan Peker.

Kırklareli University was represented by Rector Prof. Dr. Rengin Ak and a broad academic delegation. Among the participants from our university were Prof. Dr. K. Eylem Özkaya Lassalle and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Neriman Hocaoğlu from the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Feim Gashi from the Faculty of Theology; Prof. Dr. Füruzan Çelik, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Soner Yeler, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Oğuz Ateş, and Research Assistant Dr. Engin Kabataş from the Faculty of Architecture; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Berna Ak Bingül, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Saime Doğan Doğan, and Research Assistant Eren Aydın from the Faculty of Applied Sciences; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Saadet Tulum from Vize Vocational School; and Assoc. Prof. Dr. İlker Oruç from the Vocational School of Technical Sciences, all of whom presented their papers and represented Kırklareli University.

The congress, which featured contributions from scholars representing 20 different countries across 13 sessions, attracted great interest from both academicians and students. The event, which strengthened scientific exchange, academic dialogue, and international cooperation, was regarded as an important step in enhancing Kırklareli University’s visibility in the global academic community.
