The social responsibility project titled “I AM AWARE Social Responsibility Project: I Am Aware That by Managing My Life and Health Properly I Can Improve My Quality of Life with Diabetes”, carried out in cooperation between our University’s Vocational School of Health Services Health Institutions Management Program and Kırklareli Training and Research Hospital, has been launched.
The opening program, held at Kırklareli Training and Research Hospital, was attended by Chief Physician Zeliha Türkyılmaz, our University’s Public Relations Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nergiz Aydoğdu, Project Coordinator Lecturer Refika Daştan Halat, our academic staff, and students.
Within the scope of the project, various informational and educational activities will be conducted to raise awareness about diabetes, increase individuals’ knowledge of diabetes and healthy living, and contribute to improving the quality of life of people living with diabetes.
As part of the project, which will continue between March 6 and May 15, 2026, our students will provide information to citizens at Kırklareli Training and Research Hospital about diabetes, healthy nutrition, lifestyle adjustments, and effective ways of coping with the disease.
